The sociological evaluation of students' satisfaction of quality of educational services as a criterion of effectiveness of management of medical university

Abstract

The article reveals impact of transition to market relationships on transformation of both structure and dynamics of education processes, increase of requirements to education system and alteration of administrative managerial approaches to organization of functioning of higher school. In new social economic conditions the satisfaction of consumers with quality of given services is one of basic indicators of effectiveness of university. On the basis of analysis of level of satisfaction of students with components of educational process it is demonstrated that high effectiveness of management of university functioning can be ensured by progression to convergence of content of educational programs of high school, level of professional competences of graduating students and demands of labor market.

The analysis of law literacy of physicians of emergency medical care

Abstract

During last years, meticulous increase of number of operative interventions is marked and rising of surgical activity and increase of number of operations implemented on urgent indications. The analysis of law awareness of physicians concerning provision of emergency medical care exemplified by traumotology service was implemented. The questionnaire survey was organized on the basis of sampling of 100 traumotologists of different qualification categories and concerning provision of round-the-clock emergency traumatologic care to patients aged 24-62 years. The attempt is made, on the basis of sociological survey data, to establish main causes of development of conflicts between physicians and patients and to consider preventive measures too.

The article reveals particular aspects of impact of religiosity on human health, including meaning of life attitudes, commitment to healthy life-style and refusal of harmful habits. It is demonstrated that indicators of structural model of religiosity are interrelated with number of health characteristics and subjective evaluation of individual of one's own health. Moreover, meaningful conclusions are made concerning possibilities of application of health promotion resource of religiosity in medical practice and human social life.

The article presents results of comprehensive sociological survey carried out within the framework of research study under order of the Federal foundation of mandatory medical insurance in April-July 2014. The article includes the analysis of main directions, subject matters, approaches to population surveys in 2009-2014. Also, consideration is present concerning results of population survey in number of regions of the Russian Federation related to satisfaction of availability and quality of medical care, population awareness of possibilities of medical care system and rights of insured persons in the sphere of mandatory medical insurance.

The implementation of principles of early detection of disease and standardization of medical care under cancer of prostate

Abstract

The article reals with analysis of implementation of the Program of rendering complex stage medical care to patients with prostate cancer based on principles of early diagnosis. The main components of program are organization of four-level system of rendering of medical care, standardization of material and technical equipment of medical institutions, training and education of specialists, diagnostic and treatment methods on all levels, introduction of indicators of effectiveness of medical care on every level, organizational and systematic supervision of the federal sectoral center. The implementation of principles of early diagnostic of prostate cancer morbidity permits enhancing the key indicators of rendering of medical care to patients (decreasing of mortality, reduction of period and economic costs of treatment, decreasing of proportions of surgery intervention) that promote benevolent prognosis of treatment, maintenance of quality of life and social activity of patients.

The medical social significance of hospital substitute technologies exemplified by diagnostic and treatment of Baker's cyst

Abstract

The study was carried out concerning the results of questionnaire survey of physicians who in course of their practice encountered Baker's cyst. The structure of sampling included 42% of surgeons, 30% of traumatologists, 11% of specialists in ultrasonography and 15% of physicians of other specialties (rheumathologists, neurologists, phlebologists). The study was organized to establish attitude of physicians of different specialties to diagnostic methods, surgical and conservative tactics of treatment of patients with synovial cyst of popliteal area. The additional task was to investigate degree of satisfaction of physicians by actual methods of diagnostic and treatment of patients with Baker's cyst. It was established that patients with diagnosed cyst of popliteal area comprise significant portion of those who went to seek medical care. However, number of patients referred to planned surgical or conservative treatment on the subject of Baker's cyst is negligible because of its low effectiveness according opinion of experts.

The satisfaction of patients with medical care in health centers for adults of Chuvashia

Abstract

The article presents main results of sociological survey of satisfaction of patients with medical care in health centers for adults in Chuvashia. The results of questionnaire survey demonstrated high degree of satisfaction of patients with quality of medical care. The behavioral risk factors of development of diseases were significantly propagated among respondents. The active health promotion was mentioned by three forth of respondents. The most of the visitors of health centers express readiness to compensate risk factors of chronic noninfectious diseases.

Abstract

The article presents the results of analysis occurred during last five years in respect of participation in clinical trials of anti-HIV/AIDS vaccines, changing of priorities of motivation, degree of awareness of HIV-infection and means of prevention and treatment, readiness to vaccination against HIV-infection. The prospective approaches to formation of cohorts of volunteers with participation of representatives of population groups with different risk of HIV-infection, including HIV-non-infected partners from discordant pairs. The qualitatively handled selection permits forming a cohort with high level of stability that hereinafter ensures appropriate implementation of clinical trials in given period.

The stomatological health of school children and social factors of its amelioration

The article presents the results of sociological survey of stomatological health of children in the Stavropolskii kraii. The conclusion is made about importance of consideration of social factors in prevention of stomatological diseases in children. The role of parents, pedagogues, children stomatologists as agents of health-preserving socialization is assessed. The position that main responsibility for preventive training of children lies with pedagogues is criticized. The proposal is made to submit alterations into the form of informed consent to achieve complementarity in activities of stomatologists and parents of children-patients.

The social portrait of patient with acquired helplessness

Abstract

The phenomenon of acquired helplessness is a social fact negatively impacting physician-patient interaction. The acquired helplessness prevents convalescence of patient and decreases therapeutic effect of treatment. The study was carried out to establish social portrait of patient with acquired helplessness. In the course of study relationship of risk of development of acquired helplessness depending on gender, age, family status, education, occurrence of diseases were revealed; the behavior of patients with acquired helplessness in conditions of hospital was analyzed; the leading type of attitude of patients with acquired helplessness to their disease was determined; the manifestations of helplessness in behavior of patients with acquired helplessness were typologized. The technique of questionnaire survey of patients was implemented in state medical institutions of Volgograd. To process questionnaires the technique comparative analysis was applied. The analysis of established behavioral characteristics, social expectations and attitudes to process of treatment and medical personnel the social portrait of patient with acquired helplessness was outlined as follows: woman of elder age, no higher education, low valuation of one's welfare and quality of life. In conditions of hospital, patients with acquired helplessness manifest passive deconditioning behavior preventing achievement of positive therapeutic effect.

The social problems of prevention in obstetrics and gynecology

Abstract

The article considers “personalized prevention” as one of aspects of preventive activities in obstetrics and gynecology. The detailed sociological analysis of this phenomenon is given. The causes of low effectiveness in implementation of preventive means in obstetrics and gynecology were established. The guidelines were developed concerning preventive examinations updating and development among female patients attitudes to health-preserving behavior. The adjustment of both labor conditions and educational process in training of obstetricians and gynecologists were proposed to motivate them to personalized preventive activities. The study results can be applied in regional health agencies to implement the Concept of health care development up to 2020 and also in system of post-graduate training of obstetricians and gynecologists.
