The similar aspects inherent to these surveys are noted. Among them are the study of economically valuable groups of population, the stratification of these groups by different features and the attempt to establish polyetiology of modern pathology. The strong and weak sides of the analyzed occurrences are pointed out.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье представлен анализ результатов современных зарубежных социологических исследований по проблеме взаимосвязи образа жизни и здоровья. Отмечается ряд сходных черт, присущих этим исследованиям, в частности изучение экономически значимых групп населения, стратификация данных групп по различным признакам, попытка выявления полиэтиологичности современной патологии. В заключении указываются сильные и слабые стороны изучаемых явлений.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Key word s: sociology</kwd><kwd>life-style</kwd><kwd>risk factors</kwd><kwd>health</kwd><kwd>multifactorial approach</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>социология</kwd><kwd>образ жизни</kwd><kwd>факторы риска</kwd><kwd>здоровье</kwd><kwd>многофакторность</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Решетников, А.В.
